Where is the Car Parking for [location]?

Where there is car parking for any walking routes or indeed anything else is one of the most common questions asked on Google. In the case of my walks, at the top of each walk page is the box shown below - in this case the Wray to Hornby circular walk.

Small lay-by on B6840 immediately outside Wray (SD 605681)

Clicking on the blue icon (or pink if more than one walk starts there) indicates the precise starting point for the walk. In most cases, this also is where the parking is as most of them are circular walks. Try it. The likely exceptions are for linear walks where public transport has probably been used.

Clicking the icon will produce a Google map similar to below on a mobile phone, which will show the way from your current location (assuming you have location enabled) or whatever you replace "location" with. In the case of a PC/lap top, you will probably need to enter the location to get the map. In this case, I just chose Lancaster as a random start point.
