Playa Quemada 

There is little at Playa Quemada. Positioned at the foot of the Monumento Natural de Los Ajaches mountains, It is a genuine Canarian little village with little homage to tourism. It has a black beach and is the start of my walk to Puerto del Carmen and to the Hidden Garden of Casita.

However, what it does have, is the excellent  Salmarina Restaurante. This does great meals and the dining room overlooks the sea. A great place for a meal when the surf is pounding.
